Cigna Healthcare plans include behavioral health benefits that cover diagnostic evaluations for conditions like autism and ADHD. For most Cigna members, those behavioral health benefits are administered by Evernorth Behavioral Health, part of The Cigna Group.
Most Cigna plans offered through employers, including Open Access Plus (OAP) and LocalPlus plans and cover psychological testing when it’s medically necessary. Some plans require prior authorization for testing. Our team handles the verification and any authorization with Cigna, so you can focus on your evaluation.

Yes. Evernorth Behavioral Health manages behavioral health benefits for many Cigna Healthcare members. You don’t need to do anything differently, just share your Cigna member ID and we’ll take care of the rest.
Some Cigna plans require prior authorization for psychological testing. If yours does, our team submits the request for you and keeps you updated.
Your cost depends on your plan’s deductible, copay, and coinsurance. After we verify your benefits, we’ll share an estimate. If a claim is denied, we’ll work with you and Cigna before anything is billed to you.
No. Josi Health doesn’t work with Medicaid plans, including Medicaid plans managed by Cigna. Self-pay is available if your plan isn’t accepted.
